What is Hypertension?

Commonly referred to as the “silent killer”, Hypertension (high blood pressure) is a medical condition where the pressure of blood flowing through your vessels is higher than it should be. Often, this increase in pressure produces no warning signs or symptoms, which underscores the importance of regular blood pressure checks from a professional healthcare provider.
